Dr Geetha Kannappanhas done her Ph. D and has specialized in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry and spectroscopy. She has over 20 years of experience in teaching and currently she is working as an associate professor and head with Muthurangam Government Arts College in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.

Dr Geetha believes in teaching chemistry with examples. According to her chemistry is very important in our everyday life and a day without chemistry can bring our life to a standstill. She believes that anything that brings joy and makes us enjoy life will have chemistry involved directly or indirectly.
